CRAFT-TOUR is an exciting project designed to breathe new life into Europe’s traditional crafts through innovative tourism synergies. Our mission is to empower artisans and small craft businesses from craft-rich regions to showcase their heritage skills, reach wider markets, and create authentic visitor experiences. Co-funded by the European Union under the PPPA Project Grants, we are building a vibrant ecosystem where handmade traditions meet modern tourism, fostering local jobs, sustainable growth, and cultural pride.

Our key aim is to facilitate the revival, innovation, and market integration of traditional crafts via tourism partnerships, leading to artisan empowerment, regional economic boost, visitor attraction, and lasting heritage preservation. Join us as we craft a brighter future for Europe’s makers and destinations!

Our goal

Preserve artisanal heritage, enhance craftsmen's capacities, and activate tourism for economic and cultural resilience.

👉Interesting fact: visitors increasingly look for experiences that feel local, personal and meaningful. That is exactly where crafts have so much to offer. CRAFT-TOUR is working to help artisans connect with that demand by developing craft-tourism opportunities that are grounded in real workshops, real skills and real communities. We are six months into the project and building the next phase with care and purpose. 🔗Visit the project website: craft-tour.eu/ #crafttoureu #AuthenticTravel #CreativeEconomies #heritagetourism ... 🧐What does craft-led tourism actually look like? It can mean meeting the maker, seeing techniques up close and understanding the story behind an object made by hand. CRAFT-TOUR is helping turn that idea into practical opportunities by supporting artisans and strengthening the links between crafts and tourism across Europe. The result is not just better visibility for makers, but richer experiences for visitors too. 🔗More here: craft-tour.eu/ #crafttoureu #TourismInnovation #craftbusinesses #CulturalHeritage ...
